Check mate I have the prerequisites, It is weird that theres no snow, I heard were in for some of the white stuff this week though. I cant complain really as I got in way more riding than any other year. I'll have to check the local stomping grounds to see how bad a$$ it actually gets.

29ers kick A$$ aint nothing dark about switching. I am so happy I made the change. Just make sure you set it up right so you can still rail with your big wheels! I had my bike set up wrong and hated my 29 until I tinkered with the setup both front and rear suspension now I charge in as hard if not harder than I ever did with my 26 in tight turns, corners and berms with full confidence.

sweet let me know how it works I have been eyeing that shock for awhile now since its one of the only companies to make a 27.2 diameter. I spoke to a guy who rides ellison a few times and he says he has had his rebuilt 3 times already
